Our loving mother and wife, Barbara W. Cox, 75, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at her home.

She was born June 19, 1935 in Ogden, Utah to Harold William and Agnes Jean Berlin Wangsgard.

On June 18, 1953, Barbara married John Allan Cox, Jr. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in various capacities including service at the Ogden LDS Temple and the Family History Center.

Barbara had a special love of music and shared it with her children and her many friends. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafts of any kind.

She was happiest surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara is survived by her husband; seven children, Julie Ann (Art) Bingham, IL; Cynthia Jean (Scott) Christensen, Salt Lake City; Linda Sue (Jeffery) Lowe, Brigham City; Amy Louisa (Bill) LeFevre, Ogden; J. Andrew (Nikki) Cox, Mt. Lake Terrace, WA; Nathan C. (Jenifer) Cox, Roseville, CA; Preston J. (Jenny) Cox, Huntsville; 21 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Wangsgard, Huntsville; and a sister, Shirley Gilbert, Twin Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9th at 11 a.m. at the Huntsville 1st Ward Chapel, 277 South 7400 East.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Huntsville Cemetery.
