Barbara Jean Hinderliter
Barbara Jean Hinderliter passed away peacefully in the morning hours on February 24, 2022, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Born on January 12, 1944 she spent her life in Southern California with the love of her life, Terry Hinderliter. Her days were filled with shopping and cooking, visiting her numerous friends, enjoying the laughter of her grand and great grandchildren, and traveling the world with family and friends.
She was the bunco queen, the ruler of the house, and an exceptional cook; she had a keen eye for fashion and great deals, and a sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone she met. She was our biggest supporter, the best giver of hugs, and we will cherish the love and memories that’s she has left us and miss her terribly.
Barbara is survived by her 6 sisters, her greatest friends; her sons Michael Thomas, Matthew Thomas, and Michael Hinderliter (Joann), her daughter Paula Shannon, and Naomi Thomas and Angel King, her extended family; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Terry, and her sons Mark Thomas and James Hinderliter.
Cremation care entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 NO. Fairfield Road. Layton, Utah.
