Barbara Perrins Brown, of Ogden, Utah, passed away February 22, 2024. She was born September 9, 1935, and often proudly proclaimed, “I was alive in 35!” She was the only daughter of Glen Warner and Thelma Lucile “Cele” Friese Perrins.
Barbara graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State College where she met and married the captain of the football team and love of her life – Jack Brown. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on November 16, 1956.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a passionate testimony. She blessed countless children’s lives through decades of service in the Primary. Later she loved her calling as the Relief Society pianist for many years.
Barbara was a 45-year member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Her favorite hobby and the joy of her life was spending time and making memories with her family.
Barbara is survived by her children, Steve (Lori), Keith (Jana–deceased), David (Jonica) Evelyn, and Annette. She leaves behind 12 treasured grandchildren, Mike (Melanie), Rachelle (Matt), Brad (Jen), Katie (Karl), Ryan, Emily (Cormac), Oliver (Rylee), Mark (Devin–divorced), Ross (Shauna), Lille (Nolan), Mary, and Cole (Maddie). She adores her 29 wonderful great-grandkids.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, her daughter-in-law Jana, brother George and sister-in-law Claire, as well as many wonderful friends and close relatives.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara would like you to take a loved one to dinner!
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Mt Ogden Ward, 1314 27th Street, Ogden. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
