Barbara Gifford Lee Schrock November 8, 1935 a€" July 21, 2008

MURRAY, Utah a€" Our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Barbara Schrock, 73, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 21, 2008 from natural causes.

She was born November 8, 1935 in Hurricane, Utah, the daughter of Afton and Leola Button Gifford. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1951.

Barbara married Asael ElVoid Lee in 1952. Asael preceded her in death. She later married Michael Schrock.

She lived many years in California where she raised her children. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service.

Barbara was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a great love of music and played the piano and organ at many church functions.

She conducted musical choirs. Barbara also enjoyed cross stitching.

Surviving are her children, Patti (John) Duer, Gayle (Carvel) Anderson, Paul (Patty) Lee, Dan (Teresa) Lee and Michelle (Michael) Ahrens.

She is also survived by her youngest brother, Kerry (Clara) Gifford.

Preceding Barbara in death were her parents, her brothers, Kelland and Kenneth, and her sister, Delores Goodrich.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all those at LifePath Hopice of Utah who helped care for her during the past few months.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 2 at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
