Barbara B. Stoddard

Barbara B. Stoddard, age 79, a life-long resident of South Ogden, UT. On March 11, 2022 after battling cancer, and a week-long battle with sepsis, she passed away.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Florence Bingham; husband, Dee T. Stoddard; her sister, Sheryl; and her son, Kurt.

She is survived by her daughter, Keeley; her granddaughter, Mishella and Jason, grandson, Colton and Krista and her two great-grandsons, Braxson and Quinn; her brother, Dennis Bingham and nephews, Eric and Trina, Kyle and Jennifer, and nine grandnieces and nephews; her nieces, Kathy and Rick Lawley and Sue and Rick Sims.

Barbara was born October 18, 1942 in Cornish, Utah, to Roy and Florence Bingham. She was the youngest of four children. She graduated from Ogden High School, class of 1960.

She married the late Dee T. Stoddard on May 24, 1974, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, becoming a mother to Kurt and Keeley.

She had a successful career at Hill Air Force Base as a Logistics Management Specialist. After her early retirement on June 30, 1987, she was able to enjoy her time in Ogden with her husband Dee and her parents.   

Barbara had many wonderful friends that she enjoyed spending time with. She enjoyed traveling with Dee, Florence and Roy. They took many wonderful trips and cruises together. Barbara loved golfing, bowling, walking, doing puzzles, keeping up on current events, (the news… every day), always trying to win at Jeopardy, and visiting family in Las Vegas. Family and friends will always remember her summer BBQ’s, annual super bowl parties, and hosting friend get-togethers, birthday celebrations, and cards.

Barbara will truly be missed.

Private graveside services will be held.
