Barbara Ann Virgo, resident of Ogden, UT, passed away at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Friday, the 21st of September 2018, at Ogden Regional Medical Center at the age of 62. Born in Monroe, MI, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ron Quinn; as well as her parents, Muriel Agnes Virgo and John Virgo; her eldest brother, John Michael Virgo; sister-in-law, Laureen Sheppard Virgo; and brother-in-law, Mark Wayne Hamilton.
Barbara is survived by her two sisters, Angela Victoria Virgo of Desert Hot Springs, CA, and Donna Marie Hamilton of Williamsburg, VA; brother, Collin Anthony Virgo (Christy Hornback) of Hemet, CA; sister-in-law, Katherine Sue Virgo of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Debra Marie Riekstins (Edward) of Wilmington, MA, and Alicia Ann Marie Virgo (Juan Soto) of Desert Hot Springs, CA; nephews, Collin John Virgo (Victoria) of Hemet, CA, Ryan Daniel Virgo (Michelle) of Hemet, CA, Brandon Wayne Hamilton (Molly) of Arlington, VA, Justin Christopher Hamilton of Dallas, TX, and Nathaniel Aaron Hamilton of Sneads Ferry, NC; great-niece, Katrina Marie Riekstins of Wilmington, MA; and great-nephews, Adam Edward Riekstins of Nashville, TN, Troy Michael Riekstins of Wilmington, MA, Eli Collin Virgo of Hemet, CA, Talon Ryan Virgo of Hemet, CA, Matthew Lawrence Hamilton of Arlington, VA, Ryan Mark Hamilton of Arlington, VA, and Evan William Hamilton of Arlington, VA.
In her younger days, Barbara was an avid swimmer and a member of the Virgo Family Swim Team. She loved music, singing, her keyboard, writing, and being outdoors. As anyone who saw her writing would attest, she had beautiful penmanship and no letter was complete without pictures adorning the page. She devoted her later years to helping others.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
