Barbara Whitecar

BARBARA JOYCE WHITECAR

1934-2015

Barbara Joyce Whitecar died peacefully April 29, 2015 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah surrounded by her family.  She was the daughter of Don and Anne White.  She was the third child of nine children.

Barbara loved life and her family.  She lived life fully and with great enthusiasm and passion.  She was truly a unique person, with a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor.  For many years, besides raising her own four children, Barbara babysat, cherished and loved over 200 other children.  Barbara also worked her dream job at Ballet West for many years as Director of Annual Giving.

Barbara is survived by her children:  Cliff (Lynn) Whitecar, Dave (Carol) Whitecar, Wendy (Steve) Wetherell, Brenda (James) Skeen; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who will all deeply miss her; three brothers, Don (Margrit) White, John (Lorraine) White, Mike (Deanne) White, and sister Kay (Glen) Lee.  Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Whitecar, and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.  Interment Centerville City Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
