BARBARA JEANNE VAN DAM WICKHAMSHIRE

1939-2015

Barbara Jeanne Van Dam Wickhamshire loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister was born January 30, 1939 passed away May 19, 2015 from complications due to a stroke at the age of 76.  Barbara was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard Warren and Geraldine Slade Van Dam.

Barbara married Charles Duane Wickhamshire in May of 1969, later married in the LDS Temple.  They were married for 45 years.

Barbara is survived by her children, Mark Wickhamshire (Jack), Steve Wickhamshire (Jackie), Chris Neal (Rich); 3 grandchildren Stephen, Shaye and Tyler; 4 great grandchildren Braxton, Brayden, Brighton, Brogan and her brother Paul Van Dam.  Preceded in death by her husband Charles Wickhamshire; son Jeff Wickhamshire and her parents Richard and Geraldine Van Dam.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 26, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 S. Highland Dr. Salt Lake City, UT.  Family and friends may visit from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. prior to the service at the cemetery.

A special thanks to Hunter Hollow Care Center for the wonderful care they provided and St. Marks Hospital and Inspiration Hospice for the special care they gave to both her and the family in her final days and hours.

She will be greatly missed, we all love her so much!
