OGDEN - Barbra Earl, 83, died Saturday, July 24, 2010. She was born December 8, 1926, in Brigham City, a daughter of Zenos and Vera Carter Earl.

Barbra was raised and educated in Brigham City. She graduated from Utah State University, and received her Master''s degree from Arizona State University.

She worked as a teacher and counselor at the Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City.

Barbra was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For numerous years she served in the Church Family History extraction program. She also served and enjoyed several other church callings throughout her life.

Barbra retained happy memories of her life and enjoyed sharing them with everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dr. Wynn C. Earl.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary on Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Chancellor Gardens and Vista Care Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Utah State Chapter.
