CLEARFIELD a€" Barton Wayne Beddes, 48, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 in Alturas, CA, the victim of a homicide. He was born June 3, 1962 in Lovell, WY, the son of Wayne T. Beddes and Gloria Maez Beddes. Barton attended schools in Sheridan, WY; Del Norte, CO; Custer and Belle Fourche, SD and Alamogordo, NM.

Barton worked in all phases of the building trade, with his specialty being a framer. He was an outdoorsman and also enjoyed working in the woods where he worked as a logger, forest fire fighter and tree thinner. He was a hard worker and a master craftsman.

Barton is survived by his parents Wayne and Gloria Beddes of Clearfield, brother Bryan (Kathy) Beddes of Layton, brother Bradford of Ogden, sister Nicole (Michael) Call of Syracuse and 10 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jose and Soraiza Maez and his paternal grandparents James and Sevella Beddes.

Barton is now with his Heavenly Father and his Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
