CLEARFIELD a€" Arva Taylor Bell, 72, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009.

She was born August 25, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Thomas B. and Beatrice Videan Taylor.

Arva married Leroy C. Bell on February 27, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Clearfield 9th Ward where she served as chorister and librarian.

Arva worked as a financial secretary at the church office building prior to marriage. She later worked as librarian at Hill Field Elementary. She was a housewife and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She liked crossword puzzles, cross-stitch, reading, crafts and taking care of stray animals.

Surviving are her husband Leroy Bell, four children: Dennis L. Bell (Peggy), Leanne Swallow (Jeff), Kathleen A. Bell, Don Bell (Doreen), 15 grandchildren, one great-grandson Jamal and sister Carma Goldhardt.

Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Henefer City Cemetery.
