OGDEN a€" Beatrice Stuart Perkins, 92, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend, passed away June 27, 2011 at Mt. Ogden Care Center surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born January 16, 1919 in Wellsville, Utah to Thomas H. Stuart and Vera Baily Murray Stuart.

Beatrice married Vernon M. Perkins on March 31, 1938 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on May 22, 1964. She was educated in Cache Valley and graduated from South Cache High School. She was a member of the LDS South Ogden 6th Ward.

She worked at Hill Air Force Base retiring after 25 years of service. She loved working in her flower garden and also enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and traveling with her husband. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Beatrice is survived by her husband, Vernon of Ogden, one son, Gerald (Carol) Perkins, Layton; one daughter, Connie (Leon) Curtis, Lacey, WA; two sisters, LuDean Jenkins, South Ogden and Elizabeth (Dean) Haslam, Wellsville, Utah. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, one brother, one son, Dennis G. Perkins, one daughter, Donna P. Stephens and two grandsons.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Carl and the care professionals at Mt. Ogden Care Center and special thanks to Carrie and staff at Applegate Hospice.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may meet family on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment at Wellsville City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
