Benjamin Kurt Cottrell went to his Heavenly Father unexpectedly Monday, November 19th, 2012.

He was born December 26, 1978 in Ogden, Utah the son of Lanny Tonks and Sandra Sue Wright Cottrell.

Benjamin married Amy Webb on August 18, 1999 in the Bountiful LDS Temple.

He was an Elder in the LDS Church and had a strong testimony.

Benjamin was a video game enthusiast, movie lover and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife Amy, children Noah, Elan, Addie, Jill, parents Lanny and Sandy Cottrell, brothers Jason, Tim, Matthew, Aaron and a large, loving extended family.

Preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
