Bernell Westover

Bernell Logan Westover, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. She was born July 9, 1928 in Teton, ID to Frank and Mary Ann Jensen Logan. She lived in Teton until she was 19 years old but lived most of her life in Clearfield.

She married Clark Ruthvan Westover June 4, 1947 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He passed away March 23, 1997. Bernell was very active in the Church and loved being a Relief Society Choir member and teaching primary.

She is survived by her daughter Janene (Stanley) Sanders; foster daughter Rita Brown; sons Robert (Kathleen) Westover and David Westover; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Lea Meyers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clark, daughter Carol M. Hansen, son Floyd A. Westover, and brother-in-law Keith Meyers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
