Bernice Wheeler McGuire

Our loving mother, and grandmother Bernice E. McGuire was born December 2, 1920 in Alton, Missouri to Paris and Clara Wheeler. On Friday, April 22, 2011 she passed away peacefully.

She was a wonderful woman who could bring a smile to anyone she met. She loved to garden, read and was an avid collector of many things.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Bailey, Ogden; Clara Jo (Charles) Case, West Plains, MO; and one sister-in-law Nadine Wheeler.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceded in death by her parents, Paris and Clara Wheeler, brothers Hansel, Carl and J.P., sisters, Rose, Tilly and Sadie, one grandson Brandon Moke.

The family would like to thank Aspen Care Center for their wonderful support and care for Bernice.

Family will meet friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ogden Lindquist''s Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist Crematory.
