WASHINGTON TERRACE a€" Berniece Gleason Erickson Sessions, 98, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden of causes incident to age.

She was born December 22, 1910 in Logan, a daughter of Edward Carter and Mildred Armelia Grover Gleason.

On April 6, 1932, Berniece married Marlan Gilbert Erickson in the Logan LDS Temple. Marlan died January 15, 1969. She married Elzo Weston Sessions on June 7, 1977 in Ogden. Elzo preceded her in death on March 27, 2005.

She lived in Garland, Utah, Star Valley, Wyoming, Brigham City, Logan, Southern California and in Washington Terrace.

Berniece was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Visiting Teacher, Relief Society President, Stake and Ward, Young Women''s President, Stake and Ward Temple Worker. She also served as a Spiritual Living Teacher and a Branch Mission Mother in California.

She was a member of the LeDancers Dance Club, and enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, reading, gardening and teaching.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Bruce G. (Beverly) Erickson, Centerville; Erick Boyce (Pat) Erickson, Uintah; Vera Nadine (Richard) Tribe, North Ogden; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Berniece was preceded in death by her husbands Marlan Gilbert Erickson and Elzo Weston Sessions, and her siblings, Ray Gleason, Ralph Gleason, Rex Gleason, Afton Gleason Fata and Dean Gleason.

The family expresses special thanks to Applegate Hospice and Crestwood Care Center for their loving kindness and care of our Mother.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Patriarch Milton Jack Hodges officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
