Beth Pribble Baur

February 15, 1928 ~ May 30, 2015

LAYTON / SOUTH OGDEN - Our loving 87 year-old wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 30, 2015 for a glorious reunion with her husband, LaVon M. Baur, her son, Larry, her grandson Spencer and her parents Clarence B. and Lillian H. Pribble.

Beth was born February 15, 1928 in Ogden.  On August 28, 1946 she married her loving sweetheart, LaVon Melvin Baur, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  They had five children and were married over 65 years.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings and as a temple worker in the Ogden Temple Baptistry.  She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and volunteered as a Pink Lady at McKay-Dee Hospital.  She loved being with her family, organizing family reunions, working with her hands creating crafts, ceramics, quilts and sewing.

Beth's surviving legacy is her daughters, Kathy Baur, Susan (Terry) Flitton, Patty (Kelly) Taylor; son, Scott (Deanna) Baur; 15 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Beth was preceded in death by sisters, Lois, Clarine, and Shirley; and brothers Lynn, Jack and Dean.

The family would like to thank Fairfield Village for their wonderful help and loving service.  In particular, we express our love and appreciation to Robin, Cheryl, Deborah and Marie.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:45 a.m. at Fairfield Village, 1205 N. Fairfield Road, Layton.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Fairfield Village. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
