Beth Ann Robertson Bills

WASHINGTON TERRACE - Beth Ann Robertson Bills passed away Friday, July 27, 2007 at the age of 88.

She was born February 27, 1919 in Upalco, Utah, to Thomas O. and Sarah Smith Robertson.

Beth married Ray Bills on October 4, 1944 in Santa Monica, California. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Ray preceded her in death on November 12, 2002.

Beth had many talents. She was an accomplished seamstress and skilled in fine needlepoint. Her creativity in various crafts was well known and sought after.

She worked as a tele-typist during World War II at Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City, as well as overseas in Japan.

Beth was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various church callings. She most enjoyed using her creativity in many Relief Society Homemaking callings and Cub Scouting.

Surviving are her sons, Gregory (Beth) and Dennis (Toni); one daughter, Denise Riley; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her brother, Owen, and her sister, Maurine.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas, Reed, Smith and George; and two sisters, Fay and Nedra.

The family wishes to thank the staff and wonderful friends at Legacy House of Ogden; and Mandy, Megan and Rachal of Applegate Hospice for their exceptional caring service.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 a€" 36th Street, with Bishop William R. Jacobson officiating.
