The family of Beth Goetzman Kelly wishes to let you know that for the first time in seven years she was able to spend Valentine’s Day with her Bob. She left this life and joined her sweetheart on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 89.
She was born on November 12, 1925 in Price, Utah, the fifth of six children born to Harry B. and Mary R. Goetzman (aka Meme and Doc). She married her high school sweetheart, V. Robert Kelly, on Feb. 3, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple while he was home on leave from the Army. Just prior to Bob's death in 2008 they celebrated their 64 th wedding anniversary. She was very proud to receive her P.H.T. (Put Hubby Through) when Bob graduated from medical school in 1951. She spent a life of service in everything from PTA to MIA to AFS and more. Her home was always open to others and over the years she and Dad gladly and willingly sheltered many who were in need for a while.
Her first priority was always her Bob and together they became one of those rare and priceless units that will be family building blocks for Eternity. They are the parents of five children: Robert Scott Kelly- deceased; Paul Rhead (Vikki) Kelly , Salt Lake City, Ut; Louise (Howard) Cheney, Kaysville, Ut; Joseph Lynn (Judy) Kelly, Richmond, Tx; and Cheryl Ann (Steven) Eddington, Midway, Ut. Together Mom and Dad have a posterity of 104 grands, greats, and great greats, and three almosts.
We give many, many thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Rocky Mountain Care and Hospice. You made the journey bearable and Mom knew you loved her.
