Beth Bodily Moon quietly returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in West Point, Utah at the age of 80. Beth was born on March 24, 1942, to Leland Earl and Virginia Knight Bodily in Syracuse, Utah and was the youngest of six children. Beth attended and was a proud graduate of Davis High School where she made many lifelong friends. On November 17, 1961, she married Douglas Marshall Moon in Syracuse, Utah and they had four wonderful children.
Beth was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many different callings. Her favorite calling was that as a temple worker in the Ogden Utah Temple. She spoke often about her love of the temple and was so grateful for her opportunity to serve there.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Van Knight Bodily, Ronald Leland Bodily, Max Knight Bodily, and Gary William Bodily; and her sister-in-law, Belva May Linderman Bodily. She is survived by her four children and their spouses; Troy (Michelle) Moon, Jeff (Julie) Moon, Lance (Julie) Moon, and Kirsten (Curtis) Nye; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sister, Beverly (Delwyn) Bates; sister-in-law Mary Bodily, sister-in-law Caroll Bodily-Thurgood; and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clinton 18th Ward Chapel located at 2206 W. 2300 N. Clinton, Utah 84015. Friends may visit family Friday October 21, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N Fairfield Rd. Layton, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment to take place at the Syracuse Cemetery, 1250 S 1000 W, Syracuse, Utah
