Bette Belle Hardy Judd

Bette Belle Hardy Judd, age 93, passed away on October 10, 2021, in Farr West, Utah. She was born in Hinckley, Utah on September 5, 1928, the daughter of Raymond Willard Hardy and Bessie Averett Hardy. Bette grew up in Hinckley and graduated from Hinckley High School. She attended Brigham Young University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Bette married Thomas Richard (Dick) Judd on October 19, 1952, later solemnized in the Provo Temple. She taught elementary school in Emery, Wayne and Millard Counties for a total of 34 years. Bette devoted her life to her students, her husband, helping with the farming and cattle, and her family, following them to their activities everywhere. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and making porcelain dolls.
She is survived by her children, Tom (Sharon) of Farr West, UT and Trudy (David) Wimpy of North Logan, UT; 8 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her five siblings.

Graveside Services will be held at the Sutherland Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
