Bette L. Wilson
OGDEN – Bette Lafair Barnett Wilson, 81, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Emeritus Estates.
She was born December 28, 1928 in Ogden, a daughter of John A. and Helen M. Snow Barnett.
Bette married Leonard Wilson on June 18, 1948. Leonard preceded her in death in 2005.
She loved her job as a waitress and visiting with the people she served at Z.C.M.I. and Ann’s Restaurant for many years.
Bette enjoyed roller-skating throughout her life, ice skating and square dancing. She also loved shopping and Sunday family dinners. Bette enjoyed all the holidays but especially Christmas. She had many friends and enjoyed visiting with them. Bette was a loving mother and grandma and enjoyed being with all of her family and will be dearly missed by them.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Dennis R. (Marcia) Wilson, Plain City; Steven L. (Shirlene) Wilson, Liberty; Tammie L. (Rod) Deppen, Harrisville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is her sister, Grace Vanderhoof, Tremonton.
Her husband Leonard, two sisters, I. Donna B. Myers, and Peggy Anderson, her parents, and a granddaughter, Shannalee Deppen, preceded Bette in death.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
