Betty Joyce Tatem Bodily

Betty Joyce Tatem Bodily, age 91 passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 14, 2023, in Layton, Utah. She was born on January 27,1932 in Pheonix, Arizona to Clifford and Vivian Tatem.

She was married to Ben Bodily on November 26, 1955, in Ogden. Some of the many places they lived throughout their lives were Phoenix, Arizona, Encinitas, California, Layton, Utah.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. 

Betty had many hobbies that she enjoyed doing such as Reading Novels, watching “the Bold and the Beautiful” with her children, camping in the mountains and relaxing next to a lake, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Brad (Angie) Bodily, Ken Bodily, Annette (David) Patterson, Deborah (Brent) Adams, her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren: Nicholas, Lindsey, McKenzie Bodily; Allison, Jeff, Sienna, Jada Trujillo; Ashley, Paul, Mileena, Emma, Owen Sanders; Lindsay, Mitchell Gard; Shalease Adams; Erin Adams.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life and her husband of 58 Years, Ben Bodily, her parents, Clifford and Vivian Tatem, her brother Carl Tatem, and sister Marie Tatem.

A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.

Interment-Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
