Betty Marlene Stalder Buck

Betty Marlene Stalder Buck, 77, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012. Marlene was born in Fish Haven, Idaho to Goff and Martha Berger Stalder on June 17, 1935.

She married Langston Buck, they were later divorced. She found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren. She was a long time member of the North Ogden LDS 3rd Ward where she held several callings.

Marlene is survived by a son and two daughters, Sheldon (Merri) Buck, Yakima, WA; Cherie (T.J.) Anderson, Salt Lake City, UT and Shellie (Ryan) Thompson, Sandy, UT; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one daughter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Montpelier, Idaho Cemetery.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff and residents at St. George Care and Rehab for the kindness, fun and care shown to our mother and grandmother over the past few years, along with Alliance Home Health and Hospice for the care and comfort provided in the last few months.

The next time you have a chocolate Hershey bar remember Marlene and how she would have said it was "Spectacular".
