Betty Moulding Champion 1922-2012

Betty Moulding Champion, 89, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 due to natural causes. She was born July 25, 1922 to Lawrence Edwin and Florence Bingham Moulding in Ogden, Utah.

She married Walter T. Champion in 1946. They were the parents of two children, Susan and Dale. She retired from Union Pacific Railroad where she worked for many years.

Betty was a loving mom and grandma. She was the best cook ever and loved to cook for her family. She had a cheery sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.

Betty is survived by her son, Dale (Rosie) Champion, stepson, Doug (Tamara) Champion and family; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; daughter; parents; and three brothers.

Our thanks to everyone at Manor Care and Inspiration Hospice for all their care and support they gave to mom.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
