Our sweet, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Betty Anne Dawson, 73, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010.

She was born December 4, 1936 in New Underwood, South Dakota to Albert Edward and Edna B. Conner Sparks.

On August 17, 1956, Betty Anne married Ronald Charles Dawson in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She was a member of the LDS Church and served in cub scouts and the scouting program for many dedicated years. She was the District Commissioner of cub scouting and earned the Silver Beaver and Wood Badge awards.

She loved being with her grandsons and spending time in her yard. She enjoyed quilting, camping and decorating her yard for Christmas.

Betty Anne is survived by her husband, Ronald; a daughter, Roxanne K. (Paul) Petroff; a son, David R. (Rebecca) Dawson; two grandsons; and two brothers, Jim Sparks and Raymond Sparks.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 18th at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Cemetery, 800 North 750 West.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
