Betty Eynon, beloved by all, passed away October 16, 2018. Born to Goodly parents Edwin and Dorothy Semling on March 29, 1933 in Long Beach, California. Survived by her four children: Steve (Carol) Eynon, Edwin (Nancy) Eynon, Marc (Pam) Eynon, and Becky (Terry) Preece. Betty has 21 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren who she loved, and they loved her.
Betty was married on August 12, 1950 in Long Beach, California to William Russell Eynon, the love of her life. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on February 6, 1954.
Betty was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bill and Betty served as missionaries at the Welfare Square Center in Salt Lake City working with those needing employment. They also served a two year mission in the Bountiful Temple. After Bill’s passing, Betty volunteered at McKay-Dee Hospital for the last 10 years.
Betty was best known for her love and service of others. She truly had Christlike charity and will be sorely missed by those that knew her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Creekside Ward, 555 N. Fairfield Dr. (100 E.), Kaysville. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
