Ogden - Betty Kay Hunsaker passed away at her home Friday, February 16, 2018.
Betty was born January 8, 1939, in Oakley, Idaho to parents Darrel H. Wodskow and Sarah Irene (Sutton) Wodskow. She was raised in Heyburn, Idaho and graduated from Minidoka High School. She married Dennis Hunsaker on February 25, 1959. They were later divorced.
Betty lived most of her life in Honeyville, Utah, where she and Dennis raised their six children. Betty loved the arts and being involved in many road shows and productions. She enjoyed watching her children play ball and dance. Betty was known for her infectious laugh and her love for teasing others. She loved family reunions and being with her extended family.
Betty is survived by her children Tammy Knight, Layne Hunsaker, Larry (Becky) Hunsaker, Lori Edwards, Robby (Kim) Hunsaker, Kip (Mindy) Hunsaker; sister, Rena Harrison; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Harlow Wodskow, Ronnie Wodskow, Jimmy Wodskow, Linda Carson, Debra Elison; grandson, Jacob Hunsaker and one great- grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
