August 24, 1926 ~ June 1, 2019

On June 1, 2019 our beloved mother Betty, 92, passed peacefully at home surrounded by all her children. She is now reunited with the love of her life our father Brad. She was born Elizabeth Greer on August 24, 1926 in Bloom, Kansas. She spent most of her childhood in Nevada, Missouri. She later moved with her family to Utah. This is where she met and later married our father on April 20, 1953 in Elko, Nevada. They raised five children, Sandra Elliot, Diana (John) Warkentin, Duane (Kay) Lance, Frank Lance, and Kay (Bruce) Padelsky. They were blessed with 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Betty enjoyed many years working in the retail business and healthcare services, eventually retiring as a CNA at the age of 77.  Family and friends were her life and constant priority. Our mother was very blessed with close friends, neighbors, and her church family. We are blessed, fortunate, and proud to have her for a mother.

Funeral services for close family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 1105 North Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Ascension Lutheran Church in North Ogden.
