Betty Lou Barrow Miller, 79, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Rocky Mountain Care Center.

She was born August 16, 1927 in Ogden, Utah to Lester John and Blanch White Barrow. She was raised and educated in West Warren and Ogden area schools. She graduated from Weber High School.

On June 5, 1948, Betty Lou married Charles Raymond Miller in West Warren, Utah. They were later divorced.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Betty Lou was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers for many years.

She loved to sew, crochet and do crafts. She loved to work in her garden. She enjoyed working with genealogy and family histories.

Betty Lou is survived by four daughters, Deborah Miller, Colorado Springs, CO; Bonnie Conger, Layton; Connie Jensen, Idaho Falls, ID; Charlene Miller, Merriam, KS; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, RaNae Pelton, Roy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Darlene Checketts.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
