Betty Irene Nickel

June 10, 1938 — May 17, 2024

Betty Irene Nickel, of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away peacefully at her home on May 17, 2024. She was born in Caldwell, Idaho, on June 10, 1938, to Charles and Edith Breshears.

In 1953, she met and married the love of her life, Wesley Eugene Nickel. They lived in Caldwell, ID for many years. In 1974, Wesley's work with the Union Pacific Railroad moved them to Clearfield, Utah where they lived before they moved to Pahrump, NV in 2020.

Betty worked for various companies over her career however, her greatest memories were at Hehr Windows, Max Factor, and Manheim Auto Auction.

She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and was considered a skilled seamstress by friends and family. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Nickel, her son, Calvin Nickel, brothers, LeRoy and Tom Breshears, and parents, Charles and Edith Breshears. Betty is survived by her daughters: Sherrie (Monty) Spaulding, Deanna (Darrell) Dandoy (both of Pahrump, NV), Kimberly (Steve) Peacock of Navarre, FL, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held for Wesley and Betty on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:00AM at the Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 State St., Clearfield, UT. The family ask that you don't send flowers just send a memory through this link.
