Betty Lou Pyles
Betty Lou Pyles passed away at home in Farmington, Utah, on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Her final days at home were spent surrounded by her loving family and friends. Betty has touched the lives of so many people over the years. Betty was born November 23rd, 1930 to Earl and Edna Martin in Kansas City Missouri, and was the older of two children. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, and best friend Max Pyles who passed away in May of 2000.
Betty was blessed with a large and loving family, who dedicated her life to support them each and every day. She was always there to support others to follow their dreams and persevere through any adversity. If you were a friend you became family. She will be dearly missed by all of her loved ones, but celebrated the fact she is finally at peace with her husband and family members who have gone before her.
Betty is survived by her seven children; Teresa Pyles of Mesa Arizona, Rick Pyles of Caldwell, Idaho; Robert Pyles of Mesa, Arizona; Kathleen Watkins of Eugene, Oregon; Sherry Nebeker of Navarre, Florida; Tom Pyles of Farmington, Utah; and Bill Pyles of Kodiak, Alaska; 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.
