Betty W. Vejnar

Betty W. Vejnar CLINTON – Betty Whittaker Vejnar, 86, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 in Salt Lake City. She was born October 22, 1922 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Hyrum and Bertha Greenwell Whittaker. Betty married Karl H. Vejnar in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Karl preceded her in death on February 2, 2003. She retired from General Mills and Pillsbury following over 35 years of service. Surviving are her sister, Jeanette (Owen) Linsley and family; stepson, Rick (Teresa) Vejnar, sister-in-law, Dorothea Huss Whittaker, seven grandsons, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl, brother, Glen Whittaker and stepdaughter, Annette Perry. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North, North Ogden, UT.
