Betty L. Willis PLEASANT VIEW - Our beautiful and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend Betty (Bett) Willis returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, June 29, 2009. She was born September 29, 1924 and she grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was energetic, happy, and adventurous. She married John H. Willis in 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced. Bett is survived by four children and spouses: Sharon (Don) Nacey, Steven (Carla) Willis, Susan Willis (Rick Conner), and Michele (Curtis) Christensen. She became a caring "MaMa" to her grandchildren: Kirk (Lorri) Nacey, Julie (Wade) Rallison, J.J. Willis, Chad (Jen) Willis, Clint (Jessica), Laura Willis, Erin Jewell, Derek Jewell, Ty (Emily) Christensen, and Kylee Christensen. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. She excelled as a professional clothing buyer and owner of Willis Clothing Company in Ogden, Utah for 24 years. Bett loved spending time with her family at Bear Lake, shopping, and gardening. She was a protective mother, eccentric, feisty, and loved her family. She loved sun tanning and spending the spring on the beach in Mexico. Services have been changed to funeral services to be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 9 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday, July 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, in Salt Lake City, UT.
