Betty Gayle Anderson Young, 75, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at her home. She was born December 27, 1937 in Centerfield, UT to Gale and Faye Jensen Anderson. She married Richard D. Young December 27, 1955 in Layton, UT.

She was a lifelong resident of Farmington and loved needlework, crocheting, reading and enjoying the outdoors with Pa.

Survived by her husband, the love of her life, Richard; daughters Cindy (Russell) Leavitt, Layton, Roxsan Spencer, Farmington; three grandchildren Chad (Cathy), Curtis (Julie) and Shane ( Becca); four great-grandchildren, London, Carson, Lincoln and Taylor; and sister Judy (Grant) Leonard, American Fork. Also survived by her best friend, Mr. Scott, her loyal companion. Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Compton Bench Chapel, 850 N. 300 West, Farmington, UT. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main and Wednesday at the church from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
