Beulah “Boots” Beckstead
OGDEN – Beulah “Boots” Keller Beckstead, 88, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Legacy House in Washington Terrace.
She was born December 31, 1918 in Mink Creek, Idaho, a daughter of Emmanuel Christopher and Mildred Bennett Keller.
On June 23, 1937, Boots married Clifford Gordon Beckstead in the Logan LDS Temple. Clifford preceded her in death on June 3, 1979.
She was raised and educated in Mink Creek, Idaho and lived her adult life in Ogden.
Boots was an active and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked at Z.C.M.I. as a beautician for many years.
Boots enjoyed her family and researching her family heritage. She also enjoyed restoring furniture, gold leafing, crafts, knick-knacks, writing poetry and performed for many years in a triple trio singing group.
Surviving are three brothers and one sister, Parmer (Beth) Keller, Farr West; Vernon (Sally) Keller, Mink Creek, ID; Curtis (Elsie) Keller, Preston, ID; Aletha Parrish, North Salt Lake City; and several nieces and nephews.
Boots was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mink Creek, Idaho Cemetery.
