LAYTON a€" Beulah Green Steed passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012. She was born September 15, 1920, in Syracuse, Utah, to Ralph Beazer and Thelma Briggs Green.

She married Louis Child Steed on December 9, 1938, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were the parents of two children, Gordon and Julie.

Beulah lived in Syracuse, South Ogden and Layton, Utah, throughout her life. She worked for Sears Roebuck and Company and as an assistant in a doctor''s office in Ogden. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Louis and Beulah enjoyed traveling, square dancing and taking the Fun Bus to Wendover. She loved to do crafts, cook for her family and watch sports.

She is survived by her son Gordon L. (Janice), Layton; daughter Julie L. (Reed) Hansen, Vernal; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Ralph J. (Mary) Green, Clearfield and Blair R. (Judith) Green, Layton. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis and her sister Wilma Parkin.

Special thanks to the extraordinary people at Applegate Homecare & Hospice and Nightwatch CareGivers for the love and care they showed to Beulah and her family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
