Bevere DeFeo

Bevere DeFeo , 60, left this earth on October 20 th ,2014, to be with The Heavenly Father with her daughter by her side in Layton, Utah. She was born September 18 th , 1954 in Washington, D.C. to Jean and Mason Gilinger. Her father hailed from Pennsylvania, and her mother from West Virginia. At the time of her birth her father was stationed at Bolling Air Force base. They relocated to Sacramento, California in 1964 - the place Bevere considered home.

Bevere was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, and most of all mother. She provided her daughter with a love that many people never know in their lifetime. This love transcended in her own family, spreading to friends and coworkers throughout the years. She was known for always making people laugh, her unfiltered humor, and her dedicated work ethic. She always put others before herself, giving generously of her time and friendship.

Bevere spent her life devoted to the United States Air Force, in many facets. She began her time with the Air Force as a military daughter, became a military wife, and dedicated her life’s career to working on military bases throughout the United States.

Her interests ranged from the San Francisco 49ers and the great pacific ocean, to crocheting blankets,  gardening, and taking pride in her house. Always known for her lively attitude, she loved to attend get-togethers and parties with friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter Jessica of Salt Lake City, Utah, her two sisters, Linda and Barbara of Sacramento, California and nephew Jasen of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by her beloved fur-grandbabies, Luci and Roxy both of Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was preceded in death by both her father and mother, Jean and Mason.
