Beverly Louise Andrews Lee

Beverly Louise Andrews Lee of Ogden, Utah beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 with her family around her.

She was born on July 31, 1929, in Ogden, Utah and was the daughter of Albert L. Sr. and Vera W. Andrews.  Beverly graduated from Weber High School in 1947.  In 1946 Bev was crowned Queen of Washington Terrace Teen Canteen.

On May 10, 1949, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” A. Lee.  They were married for 61 wonderful years until his passing in May of 2010.

In the 1960s, Beverly was a member of the Alpha Beta Sigma Phi, Xi Delta Chapter, and volunteered as a Pink Lady at St. Benedict’s Hospital for ten years.  In the 1970s she became active in the International Order of Job’s Daughters and became a member in the Order of the Eastern Star, Queen Esther Chapter #4.  Beverly loved crossword puzzles, golf, and bowling.  While family vacations happened every year, after her husband retired they traveled to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Hawaii numerous times.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Sandy Coroles and Karen Lee (Smitty); seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Sloan, Kelly (Andrea) John, Eric John, Coree Smith, Jayson (Anna) Lee, Kadyn Lee, and Rose Johnson; seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many longtime and new-found friends.  Beverly was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, one son, Martin Allen Lee; her brother, Albert L. Andrews; and one sister, Betty Andrews.

Graveside services for family and close friends will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
