Beverly Tueller Argyle
CLEARFIELD a" Beverly T. Argyle passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008 due to congestive heart failure.
She was born on November 27, 1926, daughter of Arnold and Grace Tueller in Montpelier, ID. Bev attended schools in Montpelier until her junior year when her family moved to Clearfield, UT where she graduated from Davis High School.
On November 15, 1945, Bev married Ernest J. Argyle in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Logan, UT; Boise, ID and the last 50 years in Clearfield, UT.
When Ernie passed away suddenly on June 6, 1970, Bev courageously took the full responsibility of providing for and raising the family. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked as a school cook in the Davis School District and at HAFB in instrument repair.
Bev is survived by her sister, Donna Wilson of Tyler, Texas; sister-in-law, Dorothy Tueller of Palmyra, Wisconsin; and children; Velma (David) Montgomery of West Point, Jay (Joan) Argyle of Tremonton; Debbie (Dennis) Arnell of American Fork; and Roger (Jill) Argyle of Sunset. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings and their spouses; Ruth and Darvel Spring, Georgia and Ronald Miller, Bill and Norma Tueller, Chuck Tueller, George Tueller, and Jack Tueller; and in-laws: Victor and Donna Smith, E.L. and Betty Larsen, and Nina Argyle.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield 7th Ward, 300 No. 231 E., Clearfield. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
