Our beloved mother and grandmother, Beverly Ewing, passed away surrounded by her family Monday, July 16, 2012 at the FAMILY TREE Assisted Living Center.
She was born December 30, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Eldren and Blanch Parker. She spent many of her childhood days riding Old Smoke through much of West Point and Syracuse.
On September 23, 1950, Beverly married Richard "Dick" Shepherd. Together they had two children, Scott (Cindy) Shepherd and Kamie (Curt) Geiger. They later divorced. Mom had a way of picking good men to live her life with. She married Donald Max Ewing on September 13, 1962. After their divorce, she moved to Island Park, Idaho and managed Sunset Lodge. There she met and lived her remaining years with Wes Simms. Mom and Wes spent many enjoyable days fishing and camping at Island Park Reservoir. They also spent several warm winters with friends in Yuma, Arizona.
Mom will be missed greatly by her seven grandchildren and her 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings, LaRea Bitton, Craig Parker, and Lynda Baird.
