Beverly Felt

Beverly P. Felt LAYTON – Beverly Pingree Felt, 82, returned home to Our Heavenly Father Saturday, July 19, 2008. She was born May 14, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Harold and Vivian Williams Pingree. She married Thomas Lamont Felt, March 8, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After graduating from the University of Utah, Beverly taught Kindergarten until their first child was born. She loved children, and later in life returned to teach at Wasatch Presbyterian Nursery School. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions. Beverly was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. After their two children were grown, Beverly went to work alongside her husband Tom, at their store Sharp Electric Company in Salt Lake City. Beverly loved her family dearly and served each one with dedication and devotion. She was always a lady and lead by her example. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children Patricia (Michael) Hemming, Robert (Laurie) Felt; grandchildren, Chad Felt, Todd (Shanna) Felt, Keely Hemming; and a sister Donna Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 So. Salt Lake City.
