Our loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother “Nana”, sister, aunt, and friend, Beverly Ellen Hedges, 56, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her home.

She was born April 5, 1961 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of Karen (Gray) Lucas, Elmer Lucas, and Leo Lucas Jr. She was raised and educated in Pittsburgh.

On October 3, 1992, Beverly married Steve Hedges in Kingwood, TX.

Family was always most important to Bev. She loved being with family and watching her grandchildren. In her younger years, Bev enjoyed roller skating, camping, and water skiing. In her later years, she grew even more passionate for animals. She rescued many dogs and cats and found them loving homes. Her passion had always been music and dancing.

Bev is survived by her husband, Steve; her children, Brandon (Natalia), Jessica; grandchildren, Levi, Nevaeh, Beckham; her parents, Karen and Leo Lucas; sisters, Diane (John) Neuner, Tina Lucas; brother, Rick (Pam) Lucas; nieces and nephews, Jason Maxwell, David (Heather) Palonis, Jared Palonis, Alex Lucas, Ellie (Adam) Neuner Obringer, Danny Lucas, Shannon Lucas, Jeremy Neuner, Angelina Maxwell, Cody Maxwell, Janelle Hedges, Ryan (Jessie) Hedges, Desiree (Jon) Neiswender, Breanna Hedges, Jeremy Hedges, and Anelise Hedges. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer.

Funeral services will be held September 22, 2017 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Visitation is 12:30 – 1:30 pm with the service at 2 pm, casual attire requested. A repass/celebration of life will held after the service, location yet to be determined. An additional repass/celebration of life will be held in Brentwood/Baldwin Pennsylvania at a later date.
