Beverly Elaine Jackson

Beverly Elaine Jackson passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born to William P. and Etwynde Henrickson Bailey on February 5, 1932 in Park City, Utah. She married Gerald M. Jackson on August 16, 1957 in Elko, Nevada. They became the parents of two children, Gary and Galynn. She was a wonderful homemaker, beautiful seamstress and loved to work in her flower garden. The family enjoyed countless feasts at her table, always prepared by her loving hands. Most of all she enjoyed being a grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Gerald, her children Gary Jackson, Draper, UT, former daughter-in-law Patricia Prather, and Galynn (Scott) Green, Layton, UT, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a sister Janice (Richard) Berriochoa, Centerville, UT. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill (Shirley) Bailey and sister, Helen (Austin) Thomas.

Beverly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit family Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be in the Park City Cemetery.

The family especially wishes to thank her daughter Galynn for her unselfish devotion and the countless hours she spent in her mother''s care.
