“Together Again”

Beverly Constance Coleman Ozmun was born to Floyd and Constance Coleman on March 23, 1936 in Ogden, Utah. She grew up in the Ogden 4 th Ward, where she developed her love for singing and music.

She was raised in Ogden, graduated from Ogden High School, and went on to get her nursing degree from Weber State College.  She worked as a Registered Nurse at various facilities but most recently at Wide Horizons Care Center and Stoney Brooke Assisted Living. She was a kind and caring nurse and loved those she worked with and cared for.

She married the love of her life Elton Duane Ozmun on September 29, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Duane and Beverly enjoyed 52 wonderful years together before his passing. They loved to travel and had many adventures together. They had many friends including their dinner group and literature club.  She loved musicals, tennis, and golf. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends.

Beverly loved the gospel and served in many capacities in the church including Relief Society President, Stake Young Womens President and Chorister.  Most of all she loved anytime spent with her husband and family. She was a devoted wife and mother and we rejoice that she is once again reunited with our dad and her eternal companion.

Beverly is survived by her children, Leslie Arnold, Roy; Paul (Julie) Ozmun, Draper; Chris (Christine) Ozmun, Providence; Lori (Robert) Rodrigues, SLC; Jennifer (Ryan) Holtry, North Ogden; and Andrew (Emily) Ozmun, Harrisville;  26 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and brother, Neil Coleman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Ronald Coleman and sister, Valene Crumpley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Colonial Springs Ward, 2360 North 600 West, Harrisville.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

We would like to thank Dr. Justin Mansfield, Rachel and all of the staff at a Step Forward Hospice, and a special thanks to Tania Maestas for taking such amazing care of our mom.
