Beverly Jean Carruthers Perry

March 8, 1929 – September 21, 2015

Beverly returned to her heavenly home September 21, 2015 surrounded by those she loved most in life.  Beverly was born March 8, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Cedric Newton Carruthers Sr. and Hazel Ostler Carruthers.  Beverly graduated from East High School in 1947 and lived in Salt Lake City.  She married Dan Perry and had three children, Dan Jr., Debbie and Craig.  They were later divorced.

Bev enjoyed spending time with friends, making crafts, and caring for her dogs.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life.  She loved spending time with them and made each holiday special.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Zelma Frank, Marjorie Thurgood and Cedric Carruthers Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Dan Sr. (Diana), Craig (Diane) and daughter Debbie (Dave) Karpowitz, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Thank you, NP Linda Cox and staff at Promise Hospital for their tender care and kindness.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.  Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and forever dear.”
