Beverly A. Tippets
WASHINGTON TERRACE a" Beverly Amidan Tippets, 82, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 23, 2011 of causes incident to age.
She was born in Mcgill, Nevada on October 28, 1928. She grew up in Ogden and attended Weber High School.
On August 20, 1947, Beverly married Thad R. Tippets in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they had eight children: Randy Tippets, Scott Tippets(deceased) (Jeanette), Becky Richmond, Heidi (Wayne) Kotter, Kirk Tippets, Jill (Mark) Howe, Thad (Wendy) Tippets, Jr., Amy Tippets (Brett Austin). Beverly and Thad have 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters: Elayne (Frank) Butler, Sheryll (Leon) Arave, Joyce (Ivan) Courtney, and Bonnie (Rick) Bitton.
She was preceded in death by her son, Scott, and one great-grandson, Lincoln Torson.
A note to Mom from Dad: "To my sweet, beautiful, faithful, kindly, patient wife whom I love dearly a" Till we meet again", Thad.
Beverly was an excellent seamstress and cook. She was a very loving mother a" heaven help anyone that did one of her children wrong.
To our brother Randy and his son Justin a" thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of Mom during her time of need. The family also expresses special thanks to Holly, Andrea and Kevin from Hospice for their tender loving care of our mother.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Family will meet friends at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
