KAYSVILLE a€" Beverly Marker Toomer, 84, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at her home.

She was born on May 18, 1925 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of James Luce and Afton Williams Marker.

Beverly married Philip Ernest Toomer on September 25, 1942 in Malad, Idaho.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in the church. She loved to teach the gospel.

Beverly liked to sew, knit, crochet, paint and read. She loved music both singing and playing the piano and organ.

Surviving are her sons, Philip Curtis Toomer, Grant Marker Toomer both of Kaysville; Reid Warren Toomer (Deanna), Alexandria, LA; Glen Russell Toomer (Mallory), Mountain Green; daughter, Karen Kinney (Bruce), St. George; 23 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, sisters, Bethel Parkinson, Lois Lester and brother, Lynn Marker.

Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Kaysville 7th Ward, 50 W. 331 So. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Sunset Lawn, 10600 S. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah.
