Beverly Venable Wiberg

Beverly Venable Wiberg passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at her home.

She was born in Roy, Utah, a daughter of Marvin Charles and Matilda Jane Stoker Venable.

On August 25, 1950, Beverly married Dean Phyllips Wiberg in the Logan LDS Temple.

She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings within the church.

Beverly was an advocate of love and unity in the family and enjoyed the many outings and activities she shared in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an educator and retired from Davis County School District in December of 1992.

Beverly was a historian and a member of the Roy Historical Foundation where she served as president and board member for several years. She was a charter member of the (Sunset View) Martha Jane Belnap Hammon Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, being a fifth generation member of that organization.

She leaves a legacy of the following children; Dean V. (Dianne) Wiberg, LaCresenta, CA; Delos P. (Shawna) Wiberg, Roy; Barbara (Wayne) Western, Roy; Alan R. (Carrie) Wiberg, Edmund, OK; Rosann (Kimball) Ludlow, Syracuse; Reid (Janice) Wiberg, Roy; Natalie (Michael) Terry, Riverton; 33 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marleen Eastman, Roy; Sandra (Stephen) Larsen, West Point; sister-in-law, Ona Hadley; Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, her parents, a sister, Ruth Reeves, a brother, Wayne, brothers-in-law, Max A. Reeves, Leo W. Eastman, and two grandsons, Warren C. Ludlow and Jason R. Wiberg.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 11 a.m. at the Roy 17th Ward Chapel, 5725 South 3750 West.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Beverly will be laid to rest, beside her husband at the Roy City Stoker Memorial Cemetery.
