Bi-Fang "Easa" Rogers

Bi-Fang “Easa” Rogers, 60, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at her home.
She was born February 7, 1954 in Taipei, Taiwan, a daughter of Liu Gwo Tann and Lin Hua.
On April 2, 1975, Easa married Guy Lavell Rogers in Tai Chung, Taiwan. They moved to the United States in 1975. In 1976, they moved from Florida to Utah. She grew up in the Buddhist faith and converted to the LDS Church when she moved to Utah. She served as a visiting teacher in the Layton Camelot Ward.
She was also a member of the Taiwanese/Chinese Association.
Easa owned and operated several Chinese Restaurants in Utah; Mongolian Gardens, Orient Express and Tokyo Express.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed trips to Wendover, bingo, shopping, coin collecting, jewelry and cooking.
Easa is survived by her husband, Guy, Clinton; one son, Jason (Sierra) Rogers, Clinton; one daughter, Janet (Dennis) McNeely, Layton; six grandchildren; her father, Liu Gwo Taan, mother-in-law, Norma Rogers; siblings, Liu Sucah, Bi-faen (Winchen); sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean (Steve) Aylor and Dawn (Dave) Goatcher. She was preceded in death by her mother, Liu Lin Hua, father-in-law, Lavell W. Rogers, two brothers, Liu Bouling, Liu Song Yung, and a brother-in-law, Ray A. Rogers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
